Who you are as an alpha is in large part a reflection of the culture of the chapter in which you are initiated.

Founded in the spring of 1958 in Lafayette, Louisiana, the Eta Gamma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. has provided exceptional leadership and advocacy to the community of Acadiana for the past 65 years. Known locally as the “Acadiana Alphas,” found amongst their ranks are doctors, lawyers, entrepreneurs, educators coaches, armed service members, and more recently a candidate for Governor.

The Acadiana Alphas represent the very best that Acadiana has to offer, and I am honored to be among their ranks and to use my talents to benefit our cause.
