Dr. Martin Luthe King, Jr. honored in the annual MLK parade in San Diego.

The MLK parade is an annual event for the brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. (Zeta Sigma Lambda) and the San Diego Alpha Foundation. Citizens from all over the city and southern California, showed up in droves to participate in the weekend festivities, including a post-parade festival, and an inaugural 5K run which exceeded registration projections by over 500%.

The Zeta Sigma Lambda chapter is the only chapter in the entire organization of Alpha Phi Alpha which plans and organizes an MLK parade by itself.
